Lions in the Community

While the State College Lions is a football and cheerleading organization, that doesn't mean we don't encourage our kids in their other athletic endeavors. We are proud to support them in all they try to do, and we hope that the ideals of sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity, leadership, self discipline and respect for others that they develop through our program carry with them where ever they go. Some of the organizations in which our athletes have participated in and the State College Lions have been happy to support include Centre Soccer Association and the State College Youth Ice Hockey Association.

We also hope to foster a respect for others in our kids by giving back to the community. We were happy to help quench the thirst of the crowd at last years 4^th of July Fireworks Festival and we will be out in force for the United Way Day of Caring this fall. We are always on the lookout to help improve the community we live and play in while at the same time instilling this spirit of volunteerism in our kids.
